Initial Assessment and Treatment Planning

Before services commence an assessment will take place to determine the present level of functioning and needs of the client. This assessment process will include but may not be limited to an intake interview with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In addition to the intake interview, the assessment phase includes observations, formal assessment, and community observation, program development and introduction of an assigned team. We may use one or a combination of the following tools for the assessment:

Verbal Behavior-Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), Social Skills Assessments, Vineland Adaptive Behaviors Scales- II, The All Skills Learner Scoring Manual (The ARP Manual), RAISD, QABF, etc.

The Treatment plan will be developed by a BCBA and will include objective and measurable goals outlining the baseline and mastery criteria for each goal. In the event there are challenging behaviors observed a Functional Behavior Assessment will be conducted once services commence.
